Since studying at the NZ Broadcasting School for his Bachelor of Broadcasting and Communications Ben has worked in television and film for over twenty years. 

He has worked as editor on numerous film projects including Feature Documentary LA VERDAD, (NZIFF) short films DIE LIKE A SHARK and STRANGER.

2023 saw the release of Ben’s edited feature films RED WHITE AND BRASS (Piki Films), and RIVER OF FREEDOM (Braided River Films).

Ben's television highlights include editing political satire FACELIFT, Emmy and Qantas award winning drama series RESERVOIR HILL and a number of documentary series with the Gibson Group. Ben was senior editor, writer and content producer on THE HOBBIT behind the scenes webcontent and extended edition documentaries. 

In 2024 Neon and SkyOpen screened MILES FROM NOWHERE, which Ben edited for the Gibson Group, is the current marketing editor for Weta FX and putting the finishing touches on feature documentary THE STOLEN CHILDREN OF AOTEAROA for Awa Films.
